Before Your Test

  • Book your blood test through our online platform, by email, or by calling the clinic.
  • If unsure which test you need, you can schedule an optional 15-minute consultation (£85) with Dr Natalie Summerhill via video or telephone.
  • When booking online, select ‘Blood Test’ from the dropdown menu and specify your required tests (including code) in the ‘Reason for visit’ section.

Please note:

  • Avoid testing hormone levels within six weeks of starting a combined contraceptive pill.
  • For Oestrogel, Sandrena, or Lenzetto users, measure estradiol levels the morning after application.
  • Continue using oestrogen patches as usual before a blood test.
  • Test testosterone levels in the morning. Women should test before applying testosterone products, while men should avoid strenuous exercise and ejaculation in the 72 hours prior.

During Your Test

  • Your blood sample will be collected by us or trained phlebotomists.
  • Samples are securely delivered to the laboratory for testing.
  • The appointment is focused on sample collection only.

After Your Test

  • Results will be available through our secure portal.
  • Optional follow-up consultation (£85) available to discuss results.
  • Results can be used to guide treatment decisions, particularly for services like HRT.

Additional Information

  • Blood tests can be arranged independently or as part of our well-woman or well-man check-ups.
  • Customised packages available upon request.
